Who are we?
Social Strategies, LLC is a training and consulting company for social workers and people working in and around the social work fields and other interested parties. This website and our mobile application allow us to create an space filled with tools, resources, courses, and activities, all optimized for online learning. The software this website and application are based on is open source.
Beyond the Social Strategies website and mobile application, users can access additional services through external websites hosted or not by Social Strategies. In such cases if collection and processing of personal data is required user consent is obtained by the relevant external supplier and should be compliant with relevant privacy laws. Because we take privacy very seriously we have adopted the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as our company’s global standard.
What’s covered by this Privacy Notice?
Under the GDPR personal data is: “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. NO PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED OR PROCESSED THROUGH THE SOCIAL STRATEGIES MOBILE APPLICATION.
Why the Social Strategies Mobile application doesn’t need to collect and store personal data:
We do not need your personal data to provide you with our Social Strategies Mobile Application.
When we collect information about you:
We collect information about you when you provide it to us, when you visit our website and when you use our services.
We collect the following personal information about you:
Contact information such as name, e-mail address, phone number, billing information, information you input into open text fields.
You also have the option of adding a display name and other details to your profile information to be displayed in our services. Content information about you that may include viewed content and training interactions.
Contact information provided when seeking technical support, including summary of problem and attachments that may be helpful in resolving an issue.
Information about you when you visit and interact with our website and training portal. This may include the links you click on, the file attachments you download, frequently used search terms.
Device information including your connection type and settings, information about your operating system, browser type, IP address, URLs of referring/exit pages.
We use Google Analytics to analyze traffic to our website. Google Analytics does not create individual profiles for visitors.
